Our database primarily contains industrial machinery and equipment, with a focus on CNC machines, industrial tools, and manufacturing equipment. Each listing includes detailed specifications including manufacturer, model, year, price, and technical characteristics.

How frequently is the database updated?

The database is updated automatically from our main data source. New listings are added as they become available, and existing listings are updated with the "Days on Market" counter to help you understand how long each item has been available.

How accurate are the prices in the system?

All prices shown are actual market prices from real listings. Our platform helps you determine fair market values by allowing you to calculate average prices from comparable equipment. For the most accurate valuations, we recommend selecting multiple similar items to calculate an average price.

Search and Filtering Questions

What's the best way to search for equipment?

For the most accurate results, we recommend searching by the specific model number first. Then, you can refine your results by applying manufacturer and year filters. This approach tends to yield the most relevant comparable items for valuation.

Why can't I filter by price?

Price filtering is intentionally excluded to prevent bias in your valuation process. This ensures you see the full market range for any equipment, allowing for more accurate average price calculations and better valuation decisions.

How are manufacturer names handled in the system?

Manufacturers may be listed under various names or abbreviations. For example, "Gildemeister" might appear as DMG, DMG Mori, or Deckel Maho Gildemeister. When searching, try different variations of manufacturer names if you don't find what you're looking for initially.

Why didn't my search use a credit?

Search credits are only used when a search returns at least one result. If your search query doesn't match any items in our database, no credit is consumed. This helps you refine your search criteria without penalty.

PDF Reports and Calculations

How is the average price calculated?

The average price is calculated as a simple arithmetic mean of all items you've selected using the checkboxes. The calculation updates in real-time as you change your selection, allowing you to see how different items affect the average.

What information is included in PDF reports?

PDF reports include a detailed table of all equipment you've selected, displaying key information such as code, manufacturer, model, year, price, listing date, days on market, and technical specifications. The report also includes the calculated average market price, the current date, and optionally your username.

Can I customize my PDF reports?

Currently, the PDF report format is standardized for professional presentation. You can control which items appear in the report by selecting or deselecting them before generating the PDF. All selected items will be included, and all unselected items will be excluded.

Subscription and Support

What's the difference between Basic and Professional tariffs?

The Basic tariff (€50/month) provides 30 search credits per month, with each successful search using one credit. The Professional tariff (€200/month) offers unlimited searches and includes access to personal specialist support for help finding specific equipment that may not be readily available in the database.

How does the specialist support work?

Professional tariff subscribers can submit requests for help finding specific equipment through a dedicated support form. You'll need to provide the equipment name, model, year of interest, and any additional details. Our specialists receive these requests via email and Telegram and will assist you in finding the information you need.

Can I upgrade from Basic to Professional?

Yes, you can upgrade your subscription at any time. When you upgrade, your new benefits will take effect immediately, giving you access to unlimited searches and specialist support.
